Greenzer.com is the type of site that can help change the attitude that Going Green is difficult or expensive to do. Greenzer.com is a shopping and product search engine where you can search for and sort through items based on their environmental impact. The products that Greenzer includes in it’s index have to meet several different criteria:
- 1. It has to be labeled or certified by an organization such as the EPA, Energy Star, or the Forrest Stewardship.
- 2. Must have Green Attributes like made out of recycled materials or renewable materials such as Bamboo.
- 3. Some items are included because they are inherently green like rechargeable batteries or reusable water bottles.
- 4. Be a well known green company in their practices and try to minimize their impact on the environment throughout the whole production and marketing process.
