Omgili.com - Search For Online Conversations.
Omgili.com is a discussion search engine that helps you find out what people are talking about. At the time of writing, Omgili has over 100,000 discussion based web sites in it’s index including; discussion forums, message boards, and email lists to help you find conversations online.
One of the key features that sets Omgili apart from “normal” search engines is their ability to analyze and differentiate between the parts of a discussion. Meaning, the engine can seperate and categorize what is the title, responses, comments, and dates within a forum.
Aside from the discussion search, Omgili also offers a “hybrid” search that combines the objective search of Google, with the Subjective search of Omgili. Other features also include a Buzz section that showcases the most popular discussions of the day, a Search Aid that allows you to see what other people have searched for, and even an Israeli search that isolates conversations to just Israeli discussion forums.
One thing I’ve been trying to figure out - and maybe someone can answer for me - is the origins of the name. OMG sounds like the acronym for “Oh My God!” in sms lingo, but that doesn’t explain “ili” at the end. Since they do offer an Israeli search, it’s a regional expression? If you have an idea, leave it in the comments below… I’d be interested to hear about it.

@pete,
Looks like you’re right. I did a search for “what does Omgili mean” and it brought me to the altsearchengines.com interview with Ran Geva, the Developer of Omgili.
