Toddl3r.com - A Search Engine for Busy Parents.
*note: This is Part 8 of our Series on the network of Loud3r Vertical Search Engines. You can Follow along by subscribing to our RSS Feed
Toddl3r.com is a new search engine by the loud3r group, designed with the parent in mind. It allows you to search multiple child and parenting sites to find news, reviews, advice… really anything related to the full time job of being a mom or dad.
For anyone who has kids - especially young ones like me - parenting can be a daunting if not overwhelming task at times. You listen to elders, you buy the books, you search the internet - all of which are filled with good (and bad) advice on how to raise your kids. With all these sources chalked full of information, it’s difficult to understand who to listen to. What Toddl3r.com does, is allow you to easy search and sort through the information to make the best decisions for yourself.
As a parent myself, anything that can make my life and the lives of my children that much easier is worth a look. When Toddl3r first launched a few weeks ago… the first thing I thought was; Wow, why didn’t I think of that. Sure, there are millions of web sites out there centered around kids and parenting, but which ones do you follow? Which subjects are going to be important to you?
With Toddl3r, it allows you to not only search for specific information - say product reviews on the latest strollers available - but it also lets you follow specific topics via RSS feed.
Case in point, I currently have two toddlers, one is 3yrs old and the other is 1 1/2yrs old…. So, I need as much information as I can get my hands on regarding the “Terrible 2’s” (Actually, 3 is much worse since they can actually talk back to you at this point.). Looking at the toddler topic, I can already see some interesting articles; a few reviews, activities, and a few news stories as well. Since I can add each topic as an RSS feed, I can follow along as new articles are added.
