The Fourth in our series of the Loud3r group of sites is a search engine dedicated to the movies called Screen3r.com. At first glance, you might think that Screen3r is just another IMDB clone. After all, both sites cover the same industry and organize their information by Movies, Actors, Actresses, and directors. However they’re actually two different sides of the same coin. IMDB functions more as a database of movie stats and information, while Scree3r is more focused on the latest news stories around the movie industry. Screen3r does provide some information about actors and such, in the form of a side bar populated with data from Wikipedia.org.
Like all Loud3r sites, Screen3r is organized by topic, each with it’s own individual RSS feed. So, let’s say that you’re a stalker fan of Tom Cruise and you’d like to get the most up-to-date information about what he’s up to. At Screen3r.com you can subscribe to his RSS feed and keep track of him… err, news about him. I’ve included a full list of topics below.
Main Screen3r Topics:
- Movies
- Actors and Actresses
- Directors
- Writers
- Producers
- Studios
- Events
- Formats
- Genres
- Terms
- Characters
